GCI Installs and Commissions SCR Upgrade in Record Time
GCI Installed and commissioned a Digital SCR Upgrade in record time for Kenai Drilling in Bakersfield, California. The upgrade was made on a GE Generation three analog SCR house. We have effectively upgraded the old SCR house to today's standards, commented Jack VanVleit, GCI's Vice President of Engineering. We can upgrade any old analog SCR to today's digital technology faster and more cost efficient than utilizing obsolete and less reliable Analog technology. The real advantage of this technology is that we can keep the existing SCR system and only exchange the controls. The customer gets an up to date system for a minimum of additional investment.
