GCI delivers reconditioned SCR House
GCI announces
that it has delivered a 3 X 3 reconditioned SCR and
Generator Control Power House (SCR House) to Republic
Drilling Co. The unit was completely reconditioned,
returned to OEM specifications and dynamically tested under
load. Actions taken to return the unit to factory
specifications included:

Addition of one section of MCC

Refurbishment of three Generator Bays

Refurbishment of one 500 KVA 600-480
VAC Transformer
-
Refurbishment of one 112.5 KVA
Lighting Transformer
-
Replacement of one 7.5 ton AC unit
-
Clean, Inspect, and Injection test of
all 600 and 480 VAC breakers.

Test and repair of all electronic
control modules
-
Replacement of all AC generator, DC
motor, and 480VAC plug boards
-
Addition of lifting eyes to
facilitate house placement by crane
The unit was delivered to Republic Drilling in Santa Barbara, CA.
