GCI delivers Mud Pump Transfer Panel to Customer Technical Services

GCI announces that it has delivered a Mud Pump Transfer panel to Nabors Drilling.  The pump transfer panel allows the switching of main and auxiliary power to a third mud pump without adding additional SCR equipment or modifying the existing SCR house.  The system will use existing SCR House assignments and switch MP1/ MP2 main and auxiliary component logic to operate a third mud pump.  The ability to switch main and auxiliary component logic provides the rig with the flexibility to operate any two of the three installed mud pumps providing flexibility in the event of a pump failure.

The unit was delivered to Nabors Drilling in Houston, TX.
